EngineeringI began my engineering career in Alaska as a Second Lieutenant in December 1979. I was fortunate to be on an excellent design team. I have worked with many excellent Architect--Engineering organizations. I have traveled extensively to remote areas of the United States and across Europe meeting with the engineers and officials having jurisdiction over project design approvals. It is interesting and challenging work, especially when communicating through interpreters. Most of my early engineering work was on projects involving renovations or converting facilities to new uses. The A-10 Bed down Program was the first major comprehensive design I did as a member of a design team. My success with the A-10 led to many projects and programs of even greater scope and challenge. I have listed many of the projects and programs that presented engineering challenges to me. I enjoyed the challenge, creative freedom and the learning experiences. Projects

CapabilitiesI can manage engineering projects and programs from concept through construction and then manage the operation and maintenance for the life of the facility. |
